IIM-B Wins Bharti Airtel's Annual Case Study Contest

Indian Institute of Management-Bangalore (IIM-B) has bagged the 2020 edition of iCreate – Bharti Airtel's annual case study contest for b-schools. The winning team - Team Conquerors - won the top prize of Rs 10 lakhs. 

 

IIM Bangalore's Team IIMPact were the runner’s up and won the prize of Rs 5 lakhs whereas Mumbai's SP Jain team Finite Loop won the second runners up prize of Rs 2.5 lakhs. The winning teams will also get the opportunity to collaborate with Airtel’s incubation team to experience the company's product management function.

 

iCreate is a major draw for B-schools for its stress on challenging assignments. Its 2020 edition spanning three months had participants from more than 4,000 MBA students from the top business schools from India such as the IIMs, ISB, XLRI, TISS, FMS, SP Jain, MDI and IIFT.

 

iCreate provides participants with a chance to face and solve live business problems. The 2020 edition's theme was ‘Product Incubation and Innovation’ aligning with Airtel’s focus on providing digital solutions to the consumer and enterprise market. Adarsh Nair - Chief Product and Experience Officer, Airtel led the jury for the Grand Finale with 15 teams.
